INDIAN JALEBI

INDIAN JALEBI


INGREDIENTS: 
2 cups All Purpose Flour,
2 pinch Yellow Food Color,
2 tbsp Yogurt,

2 tbsp Cornflour,
1/2 tsp Yeast,

1 Squeeze bottle ,
1 tsp Sugar,

3 cups Cooking Oil. 

For Sugar syrup:
500 gm Sugar,
1 tsp Cardamom powder,

Water 1/2 cup.    

PREPARATION:
Take a mixing bowl. Add Yeast in Warm Water and Sugar in it.  Leave it  aside for 5-10 min. Mix together all dry ingredients Cornflour, Flour, and Food Color. Then add Yogurt and Yeast mixture. Mix the mixture until it becomes lump free. Then set it aside for 20-25 min. Meanwhile prepare Sugar Syrup with one string consistency. Now take a deep pot and put Cooking oil in it and put it on medium high flame till it starts boiling. Now turn the flame to low. Put the batter in squeeze bottle. and squeeze it on the hot oil. and make jalebies on it and cook it till its color become breown. Now take them out of the oil and dip in Sugar Syrup for 1 minute. INDIAN JALEBI is ready to serve.
