IRANIAN HALEEM

IRANIAN HALEEM
INGREDIENTS:
500gm Turkey Breast,
1  Onion (sliced),
500 gm Bulgur,
1/2 tsp Salt, or you can increase / decrease as per your taste,

2-3 tsp Cinnamon Powder,
Sesame,
2 tbsp Sugar,
1/2 cup Ghee,   
 




PREPARATION:
Take a deep pot . Add Ghee,Turkey, Salt and Onion in it. Put it on low flame and Cook Turkey for about 1 hour. When turkey is cooked, remove from the pot and Mash with a Potato Masher. Add water to the bulgur to barely cover it , then bring to a boil. Stir occasionally, to prevent the formation of a crust on the bottom of the pan. In a Grinder, mash bulgur into a soft paste and set aside. Return turkey and bulgur to the pot, mix well and cook over low heat for 2 hours. Then add Butter, Sugar and Sesame. Now ready to serve IRANIAN HALEEM after sprinkling Cinnamon Powder.
