VANILLA SPONGE CAKE

VANILLA SPONGE CAKE

INGREDIENTS:
3 cups Cake Flour, 
3 tbsp Baking Powder,
1 cup Sugar, 
1/4 tsp Salt, 
6 Eggs, 
2 tsp Vanilla Essence,
1/2 cup Cooking Oil.

PREPARATION:  
Take a mixing bowl.  Add sieved Flour, Baking Powder and Salt.  Take  another mixing bowl. Add Cooking Oil and Sugar. Beat them  thoroughly.   Preheat  the oven to 180 degrees C.  Take a round tin for preparation of cake. Beat the Egg Whites until stiff and set aside. In another bowl, beat the egg Yolks and Vanilla Essence. Add  1/2 cup boiling   water  to  the  sugar mixture, fold in gently the whisked Egg Whites, mix this well then fold  in  the  mixed dry ingredients and fold gently with a wooden spoon until. Pour this batter into the tin and bake for about 25-30 minutes. Then penetrate a tooth pick stick and if it comes out dry then its o.k.  VANILA SPONGE CAKE is ready to serve.
