CARROT MURUBBA



CARROTS MURUBBA


INGREDIENTS:

1 kg Carrots, finely grated,

grated peel of 2 Oranges,

3 1/2 cups of Water,

3 cups of Sugar,
2 tbsp almond,
1-2 tbsp Pistachio Nuts,
1-2 tbsp Cashew Nuts,

1/4 tsp of Cinnamon.


 PREPARATION:

Take a big pot. Add in Carrots, Grated Peel of Oranges, Water, Sugar and Cinnamon. Partially cover the pot. Boil the ingredients over high heat for  1 hour. Syrup should be like thin maple syrup. Allow to cool for 1 hour. Spoon into glass containers with airtight lids. Allow to cool completely before covering. Sprinkle Pistachio Nuts, Almonds and Cashew Nuts. MURUBBA OF CARROTS is ready to serve.
