PUMPKIN JAM (SUGAR FREE)


PUMPKIN JAM
(SUGAR FREE)

INGREDIENTS:
2 kg Pumpkin, cut into chunks
2 kg Sweetener
500 gm Whitewash
5 gm Cloves
1 liter Water


PREPARATION:
Soak the pumpkin in whitewash for two days to calcify it. After two days, wash the Pumpkin thoroughly and drain. Meanwhile, mix the Sweetener and Water and bring to boil over medium heat. Add the Pumpkin. Stir the mixture every 5 minutes until the syrup thickens.Add the Cloves and boil for 10 minutes. Distribute the Pumpkin into air tight glass jars and then cover with syrup. PUMPKIN JAM is ready to serve. Keep for 9 to 12 months.
