GUJRATI KADHI


GUJRATI KADHI

INGREDIENTS: 

2 tbsp Bengal Gram Flour
2 cups Curd
1 tsp Ginger-Green Chilli Paste
2 Curry Leaves
2 tbsp Sugar
2 tbsp Chopped Green Coriander
1/2 tsp Salt you can increase/decrease as per your taste.
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 pinch Asafoetida
1 tsp Red Chilli , broken into pieces
2 tsp Ghee

PREPARATION:

Combine the Bengal Gram Flour, Curd and 3cups of Water in a deep pan and whisk well. Add the Ginger-Green Chilli Paste, Sugar and Salt, mix well and bring it to boil, while stirring continuously. Keep aside. Heat Ghee in a small pan and add the Cumin and Mustard seeds. When the seeds crackle, add the Asafoetida, Curry leaves and Red Chillies and stir for 15 seconds. Pour the tempering over the Kadhi and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. GUJRATI KADHI is ready to serve. Serve hot garnished with Coriander Leaves. Serve with boiled Rice.
