PRAWN BIRYANI

PRAWN BIRYANI

INGREDIENTS:
2 cup Prawns,
1 1/2 cup Rice,

1/2 cup Yogurt,
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder,
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder,
1 tsp Salt You can increase/decrease as per your taste,
1 tsp Ginger Paste,
1 tsp Garlic Paste,
1 tsp Mixed Spices Powder,
1/2" Piece of Cinnamon,
1/2 tsp Black Cumin Seeds,
5 Green Cardamom,
5 Cloves,
15 Black Pepper Corn,
1/2 Lemon,
4-5 Green Chillies,
1/2 tsp Aniseed,

1/2 cup Onion cut slices,   
1/2 cup Cooking Oil.

PRESCRIPTION:
Wash the Rice and Soak in Water for 1 Hour. Warm Cooking Oil in a wok. Add Onion and fry them till color of Onions become Golden Brown.Wash Prawn with Vinegar and add in the Cooking Oil. Fry the Prawns and add Yogurt in it. Now add Salt, Turmeric Powder, Black Pepper Corn Green Chillies, Aniseed, Green Cardamom, Cloves, Red Chilli Powder & Mixed Spices . Fry it till Water is absorbed in it. Put Prawns aside. Take another Wok.  Add 4-5 Glass Water and then add Black Cumin Seeds & Cinnamon till Water starts boiling. Add soaked Rice in it. Cook it when Rice is tender. Water stain out . Keep half the Rice in the Wok and put Prawns on the Rice and Cover Prawns with remaining Rice. Keep the Wok on low flame for 1/2 Hour.Garnish with Lemon. PRAWN BIRYANI is ready to serve. Serve with Raita or Salad.
